BLÆST is extreme weather rated products made for the complexities of city living. Our street-to-trail styles are made for all aspects of living a fashion-forward life outdoors. In an effort to preserve the environment in which we love to live and play, BLÆST strive to use as much recycled materials as possible without compromising with quality. BLÆST is dedicated to constantly improving our production in order to be responsive in our production cycle. We are in the midst of taking steps towards a practicing production of circularity. Sustainably sourcing both when it comes to materials and production is not only important, but crouisial. Not only terms of in terms of the amount of recycled materials and circular but also when it comes to fully recyclable garments.

BLÆST believes that top quality and longevity are extremely important in reducing the environmental impact of our products. It is better that you wear your favorite jacket for many years than buying a new one every year. Blæst believes in producing durable products designed to last and stay with you for generations.

We’re highly committed to employing sustainable practices at every stage of our production. Here are a few of our features:

PFC Free - BLÆST use a PFC free coating on our outer material to make sure we produce products that are environmentally friendly.

Recycled Textiles - BLÆSTcontinuously searches the market for high-quality recycled fibers, and works closely with our supplier to constantly increase the proportion of recycled fibers of our textiles. BLÆST’s standard collection quality HR200 and our new SS22 quality RR200 (rip stop) are both made of recycled material. BLÆST’s products are Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified.

Responsible Supply Chain – the Norwegian Transparency Act

In Norway, The Transparency Act came into force on July 1st 2022, requiring companies to be more open and transparent about how we affect the world around us.

Blæst is a part of Aalesund Protective Wear, which has established a supplier due diligence process to select, onboard and develop suppliers. We have, therefore, developed a policy for sustainable supply chain and a supplier code of conduct.
